Development companies

All districts of Pohjois-Savo have their own development companies. Their main function is to develop the economic life, cooperation and business life in their own areas and in Pohjois-Savo. In addition to these regional development companies there is couple of companies and new company centres with quite similar targets as the regional development companies, a venture capital management company, a technology centre as well as Training and Development Centre at Kuopio University.
